The Leisure Centre is continually trying to improve on all fronts, particularly in the areas of customer service and enhancing the facilities. Each year we have a nationally accredited quality assurance assessment, known as Quest, the next one being quite imminent. In our first assessment we were awarded the highest score [69%] ever given by our assessor for a first assessment. We hope to improve on that.
The facilities are continually being improved and updated. In the last few months we have had a new floor and improved lighting in the sports hall, complete renovation of the squash courts and one of the all-weather pitches resurfaced. The next phase will be an improved reception/foyer area and, finance permitting, an extension to the bar with a studio facility above. Watch this space.
