Following the resignation in December 2009 of Chairman Andy Dransfield, the Trust has voted in a new Chairman, Mr Vic Brennan.
Andy was the Chairman of the Trust from it’s inception in April 1998 and prior to that was the Chairman of the joint Shenley/Woughton Leisure Centre Management Committee. The Trust is greatly indebted to Andy’s expertise and stewardship in many areas, which have ensured that the Leisure Centre has become a firm feature of the local community.
Vic is not only a member of Shenley Church End Parish Council but also a governor of two local schools and a member of the Community Safety Committee. He has previously chaired the Trust’s Finance and General Purposes Committee and is currently the Chairman of the Centre’s Projects Committee as well as being a leading figure in the Centre’s quality assurance scheme Quest and it’s Ten Year Development Plan.
